What's Sexy Now

Last week, Gavin saw this ad on the table and enthusiastically said, "Umma!"  My dear, brilliant son thought this was a picture of me.

He probably just saw brown hair and boobs and made the connection.  But, I'll take it.  Now I just need to dispose of these ads more promptly in the future.

And it makes me wonder why so many people are up in arms about seeing a mom breastfeeding her toddler.

Teacher Appreciation Craft

This week, our daycare has been celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week.  And so, I decided to make something for Gavin's 2 teachers.  Here is the tutorial that I followed:

And I am so in love with this tote!  I wish it were a little bigger, but it's great for small things.  I did modify how the handle is attached so that it's sewn on the inside because I thought this would give a cleaner finish.

I also attached a note that said, "For a Tote-ally cool teacher!"

Now I'm going to have to make some for myself!
